Four Seasons Hotel Austin’s London Fog uses almond cookie flavored tea infused gin to add a bit of sweetness to the cocktail

With flavors profile of a traditional English tea, this is a refreshing cocktail reminding us of the wet and foggy London evening.

This recipe is courtesy of Four Seasons Hotels and Resort’s Cocktail Quarterly campaign

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Ounce Almond Cookie Tea Infused Gin
  • 1/2 Ounce Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Ounce Honey water
  • Soda Water

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, shake until combined. Pour into a Collins glass and finish with a lemon twist.

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 to 2 tbsp agave nectar or other sweetener
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed double-strength Earl Grey tea (use twice as much tea and brew for 4 minutes if using black tea, 2 to 3 for green tea and 7 to 8 for rooibos)

Directions

Place the water and oats in a blender and let sit for 10 minutes so the oats can soften

2 Blend until the mixture is as smooth as possible. Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer over a small bowl to remove any remaining lumps.

3 Return the oat mixture to the blender along with the agave nectar and the vanilla extract and blend until thoroughly combined.

4 The mixture will be thick if you prefer it thinner, add another ¼ cup of water and blend again.

5 Pour into hot mugs of freshly brewed Earl Grey tea and enjoy!
